In 2004 we got married on the beautiful island of Hawai. Below some recollection of these most wonderful days in our lives.

Preparation:

Christy did a wonderful job preparing pretty much everything. She put a lot of hard word and creativity into the preparations and got us a nice place, organized trip and most importantly worked as tiredless coordinator in getting the various family members to visit during the same period.

We stayed at the Maui Sunset Resort where we reserved a few spacious one and two bedroom apartments.

Honeymoon:

For logistical reasons we got to have a first week just for the two of us. Sort of a pre-honeymoon.

Prior to going to Maui we got certified in scuba diving. With the brand new certification in the pocket, Christy and I spent a lot of time under water. We booked several trips with B&B Scuba, a shop that was resaonably priced. An additional bonus was that they left from close to our apartment.

Lots and lots of fish pictures originated from this period. Of course we had to try out our brand new Powershot A-80 (Canon) with an underwater casing.

Wedding Week:

One after the other family member joined our company on this island. First came Summer and Jay. Eventually we got a whole lot of family members from three different continents (Europe, Australia, America) together.

The wedding itself was most beautiful. We got married on a beach and celebrated the occasion with a Luau till late into the night.

Only two days later David and Nancy went through the same ceremony performed by the same priest.

Too fast passed the remaining days and people had to disperse soon after back to their homesteads.

We do want to thank all those who made these very special and treasured days in our live possible. Thank you so much!
