Cape Schanck is approximately a good hour from our place and has been on my bucket list for a while. I liked the idea of taking some drone shots of the southernmost lighthouse in Victoria.
The forecast promised to be ok - but once there, I realized quickly that I would not be able to shoot movies from my light weight drone. The wind was too gusty and there was intermittent rain.
As I was already there I used the moment to take some pictures with my phone. The footage is not as stable as I would have liked - sorry. Still, I do think it is worthwhile to get back to the place at some time to swim or to enjoy the view of the rough Bass Street water meeting up with the much calmer Western Port sea.

Hastings is the site of multiple shipwrecks. Until recently the HMAS Otama an Australian submarine was there. Unfortunately, a few days before getting to this place in Victoria, Australia, the wreck we towed away to be disassembled.
For this reason, all I could do was to film the two remaining (and much less impressive) wrecks. First the Redbird, a wreck of a bit built over 100 years ago. it is located right outside Hastings' Jetty.
The second wreck shows an abandoned sheep transporter.

While travelling through Switzerland I got a wonderful day while in the Aargau. Schloss Lenzburg is a castle owned by the canton. It is prominently visible from the train when going from Basel to Zurich. After having been there some 20 years ago as part of the military training, I took the opportunity to capture a few shots (and made sure to keep my drone clear from the youth detention camp close by.)

While visiting Basel, I took advantage of one of the nice and sunny winter days and headed with my drone to the river Rhine. There I took some footage of the Minster, the cathedral that had been a key mark of the city.
