An Australian specialty; flathead is a fish we have only seen in Australia. This recipe offers a simple and light meal.


  • approximately 4 flathead fillets
  • butter
  • garlic
  • a spring salad (prepared separately)
  1. dust the flat head fillets in flour
  2. melt butter
  3. add garlic
  4. fry flathead fillets for a few minutes over low heat
  5. add flatheads to a spring salad of your choice

Comment: Flatheads are a typical Australian fish with tender meat and no bones
